High Impact Intervention Audit Tools (HII)

Kairos Systems has been working with a number of its KAM solution users in developing High Impact Intervention (HII) audit tools for the performance monitoring of HII Care Bundles.

The High Impact Intervention Care Bundles have been devised by the Department of Health many experts and organisations to ensure the HIIs are built on the most up-to-date evidence. These tools can be used in all health and social care environments to enable the quality of care to be improved.

It is a requirement of the The Health and Social Care Act 2008: Code of Practice on the prevention and control of infections and related guidance (published 14 Dec 2010), which states that registered providers must audit compliance to key policies and procedures for infection prevention.

More Information on the use of High Impact Interventions is available on the Department of Health Website.
